Stephanie Becerra is the Senior Director for learning and development at Scripps Health, a Fortune 100 company in San Diego, California. Stephanie leads the Center for Learning & Innovation (CFLI), an internal corporate university which develops and aligns learning to improve quality and performance for the 14,000-plus employees at Scripps. Under the umbrella of the CFLI is Scripps Simulation Center, their newest learning lab located in a Scripps Magnet hospital, providing hands-on learning stations for staff to practice skills, operate new equipment and be trained in new protocols while in a safe environment. In addition, Stephanie oversees the Talent Development arm of the organization which supports the career growth of Scripps workforce through academic programs, financial assistance, and career development services.
A learning operations and talent development leader, Stephanie creates strategy and successful workforce programs to build the organization’s talent capital. She partners closely with site and corporate executives on workforce enhancing initiatives that are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. With nearly 20 years in the field of learning and development, Stephanie’s professional experience spans across settings in corporate learning, academic institutions and non-profit organizations.
